Four lines, no spin.
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
- Fonts are served from our own domain, so reading this page tells nobody else that you did.
- If you send the contact form, we keep your message so we can answer it — and nothing beyond that.
- We never sell anything about you, and there is nothing here to sell.
Only what you type in.
Browsing this site collects nothing about you. Sending the contact form collects:
- Your name, if you fill it in — the field is optional.
- Your email address, so we can reply.
- The topic you pick and the message you write.
- The IP address and browser the message arrived from, kept only to identify abuse if the form gets flooded.
Our servers also produce ordinary technical logs — the requested page, a timestamp, an IP address — which is what any web server does and what lets us tell an outage from a quiet day.
No banner, because no cookies.
This site sets no cookies of its own, uses no local storage to identify you, and runs no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, nothing. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.
Fonts are self-hosted. Many sites load fonts from Google's CDN, which reveals every visitor's IP address to Google. Ours are served from our own domain instead.
One exception, on one page. The contact page loads a Cloudflare bot check, which keeps the inbox usable and which you can see on the form itself. It may set a short-lived token to remember that the check passed. It is a security tool, not an advertising one, and it appears nowhere else on the site.
Three of them, that's all.
- Our hosting provider — serves this site and stores contact messages.
- Cloudflare — the bot check on the contact form, which you can see for yourself.
- An email provider — delivers your message to our inbox.
Two of the three are named by category rather than by company. Ask and we will tell you exactly who they are — we simply do not think a marketing site needs to publish its own stack.
Our servers are in the United States. If you write to us from elsewhere, your message is transferred there; for transfers out of the EU, UK or Switzerland we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Shorter section. Also the best one.
- No advertising on this site, and no ad networks receive anything.
- No tracking — nothing follows you between sites.
- No mailing list. Writing to us does not sign you up for anything.
- No selling data. Not to a broker, not to an advertiser, not to anyone.
How long we keep it.
- Contact messages — kept for 24 months, so we remember a conversation we have had before, then deleted. Ask sooner and it goes sooner.
- Server logs — up to 90 days.
- Backups — deletion removes a message from the live database immediately; any residual copy in an encrypted backup is purged within 30 days.
Read it, fix it, erase it.
Use the contact form and we will act within 30 days. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
In the EU or UK, our lawful basis for handling a contact message is our legitimate interest in answering you, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. In California, you have the rights to know, delete and correct; we do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms.
The app is a different story.
The Blindspot iPhone app necessarily collects much more than this website does — it takes photographs of cars, and an AI identifies them. All of that is set out in the Privacy Policy (App).
This page covers the website only. Nothing you do here creates an account or touches the game.
If this page changes.
When this policy changes, the new version is posted here and the date at the top changes with it.
Who's behind this page.
getblindspotapp.com is operated by Launchpad Creative, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company, the data controller for anything described here. For anything this page did not answer, send us a message through the contact form, or start at the support page.
