Subscriptions

VIP Pass, in full.

Everything about the subscription, stated plainly: the price, the trial, when it renews, and how to stop it. Nothing here is hidden in a footnote.

№ 01The offer

What VIP Pass unlocks.

Blindspot is free to play. Spotting cars, building a Garage, the ranks and the collections all work without paying anything.

VIP Pass is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds:

  • An unlimited Garage, so every spot pulls straight in
  • Claim every car you are already holding, at once
  • Your plaque on the global wall, not just your local one
  • A custom handle, plus the profile icon set
  • The VIP badge across every surface
  • No ads, permanently
  • Catalog requests reviewed first
  • Every future VIP Pass perk, included

VIP Pass does not sell stickers, rarity, or position on the wall. Every sticker is earned by pointing a camera at a real car, whether or not you subscribe.

№ 02Plans and pricing

Three lengths, one product.

PlanPriceRenewsIntroductory offer
Weekly $1.99 every week
Monthly $4.99 every month
Yearly $29.99 every year 3 days free

Prices are in US dollars for the United States Google Play store. In other countries the price is shown in your local currency, and the exact amount always appears in Google Play before you confirm. The yearly plan works out at about $2.50 a month.

In short: $1.99 a week, $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year with the first 3 days free. Same product either way — only the billing period differs.
№ 03The free trial

Three days, then it bills.

The yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. During those three days you have every VIP Pass feature and you are not charged.

The trial converts into a paid subscription automatically. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your Google Play account is charged $29.99 for the first year and the subscription renews yearly from then on. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing.

Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when a paid subscription begins. If you subscribe before the three days are up, the remainder of the trial is lost, not credited.

The trial is available once per Google account. Previous VIP Pass subscribers, and anyone who has taken the trial before, are not eligible for a new one — a new subscription starts as a paid one immediately.

№ 04Renewal

It renews until you stop it.

  • By subscribing, you authorise Google to charge your Google Play account at the price shown at the time of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the current period ends. There is no earlier cut-off: cancel any time before the renewal date and the next charge does not happen.
  • Renewal is charged when the new period begins, at the price of the plan you are on.
  • Cancelling does not end the period you have already paid for — VIP Pass keeps working until that period runs out.

Blindspot never charges your card directly and never sees your card details. All billing is handled by Google through your Google Play account.

№ 05Managing it

Cancelling takes a minute.

Subscriptions are managed by you in Google Play, not by us:

  1. On your phone, open the Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture, top right.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Blindspot, then Cancel subscription.

Do it before the current period ends and the next renewal is not charged. You can also manage it on the web at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

When a subscription lapses, nothing in your Garage is deleted — but the free garage has a ceiling again, so you may be over it until you subscribe again or make room.

№ 06Refunds

Google Play handles the refunds.

All purchases go through Google Play, under Google Play's refund policy. Start there: request a refund from your Google Play order history, or through Google Play support.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable for the unused portion of a billing period after cancellation. Google decides requests made to Google under its policy.

If something in the app went wrong, tell us at the contact form — unlike some stores, Google lets us issue a refund ourselves where one is warranted, and either way we would rather know about the problem so we can fix it.

№ 07Restoring

New phone, same subscription.

VIP Pass is attached to your Google account, not to a device. Sign in to Google Play with the same account and the subscription comes with you; if the app has not updated yet, tap Restore Purchases on the VIP Pass screen.

If it still has not appeared after that, tell us — a subscription that you have paid for and cannot use is a bug, and we will sort it.

№ 08Changes

If the price changes.

We may change the price of VIP Pass or what it includes. If the price of a plan you are already on goes up, Google Play notifies you in advance and, depending on where you live, asks you to agree before the higher price is charged. If you do nothing where consent is required, the subscription simply does not renew.

Features can be added at any time. If we remove something significant from VIP Pass, we will say so in the app before the change lands.

№ 09Contact

Who you are buying from.

Blindspot is published by Launchpad Creative, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (Google Play package app.blindspot). Questions about a charge, a trial or a cancellation: the contact form.

This page sits alongside the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, which together govern your use of the app.

Anything unclear?

Ask, and a person will answer. We would rather explain a line than have you agree to something you did not follow.
